Pastor Tim McGarvey, Altoona Alliance Church

Pastor Tim McGarvey will be leading and organizing prayer ministry at the event. He has been the Senior Pastor at the Altoona Alliance Church since 1998. He has been serving in pastoral ministry since 1987, pastoring churches at Critchfield C&MA and Butler/Freeport Road (now Crosswinds Alliance). Growing up in Mahaffey, Pa, he is a graduate of Purchase Line High School and Toccoa Falls College.
He and his wife Brenda have four sons, Andrew (Meredith), Ryan (Kyley), Branden (Tiffany), and Bryce (Kortney). Four daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren Rayna and Lincoln, Greyson and Ryley.
He enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, kayaking, hunting, fishing, playing golf, disc golf and reading. His life verses are: Philippians 3:12, 14 for his personal life; and 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 for ministry. He loves preaching and teaching God's Word, working with people and ministries, seeing people transformed and set free by the power of God, sending people into ministry and on missions trips, prayerwalking, shepherding and serving the church family with a prayer, care, share lifestyle.

Pastor John Godistart, The Well

John Godissart is a native of Philipsburg and currently resides in Sinking Valley on a farmette with his wife Karen and 5 children (Joel, Elianna, Albert, Lillie, and Analiese. He has spent the greater part of the past three decades in pastoral ministry and has served congregations in Clinton, Fulton, and Blair Counties. He enjoys encouraging others on their journey of faith. He is currently the pastor at The Well of Blair County Ministry Center in the Canan Station region of Altoona. When spare time rolls around, he enjoys gardening, fishing, walks in the woods, musical theater, movies, and caring for their 12 chickens, 8 rabbits, dog and cat.

Praise Band

The Gathering Band is a collaboration of 6 Blair county musicians with a passion for God and for leading worship. Previously known as The Red Letter Band, the group has been playing together in some form for the past 20 years.
