Hello, my name is Bob Yacobucci and I am the organizer of Faith Festival. The original Faith Festival occurred in 2007 and it was held at the Altoona Curve baseball stadium. It was a wonderful event with many churches and Christian organizations participating. Along with music provided by local talent, churches and other Christian organizations set up tables to provide more information about their organization. The event attracted approximately 2,500 visitors and it was a great success!

One of the most wonderful benefits of the event was networking and having people communicate and learn from each other. Barriers were removed and friendships made!

The concept came from, of course, a calling from God in 2006 & 2007. Over several months, I went back and forth with God. I did not want to spend the time organizing the event, but God kept asking me; and in the end, His love won out. And from that point onward, myself and several others worked on organizing the event. It truly was a Christian teamwork event blessed by God.

We look forward to this event as we know it will grow from the original event to become something even more wonderful, not only for churches, but also bringing people to Christ. We will also be welcoming visitors to the event to hear music, some encouraging words, along with churches who can provide a welcoming atmosphere to those seeking more understanding or a place of worship.
